Molding of silicone glass pipes (laminated tubes)
Pipe made of H-class (maximum allowable temperature 180°C) insulating material.
A silicon glass pipe is a laminated tube formed by layering a prepreg, which is a substrate made by impregnating silicon resin into a glass fabric and partially curing it, onto a mandrel (iron core) and then applying pressure and heat to shape it (thermosetting treatment). It is made of H-type (maximum allowable temperature 180°C) insulating material, which excels in high-frequency characteristics and arc resistance, and is used for insulation around heaters, in microwave ovens, circuit breakers, thermal power generation, and furnace-related applications. In addition to pipes, round bars are also available, so please feel free to contact us. Myojo Electric provides one-stop services from material selection and procurement of thermosetting resins, including glass epoxy, and engineering plastics to various processing methods such as cutting, molding, polishing, bending, and bonding.
