Molding of silicone glass pipes (laminated tubes)

Pipe made of H-class (maximum allowable temperature 180°C) insulating material.

A silicon glass pipe is a laminated tube formed by layering a prepreg, which is a substrate made by impregnating silicon resin into a glass fabric and partially curing it, onto a mandrel (iron core) and then applying pressure and heat to shape it (thermosetting treatment). It is made of H-type (maximum allowable temperature 180°C) insulating material, which excels in high-frequency characteristics and arc resistance, and is used for insulation around heaters, in microwave ovens, circuit breakers, thermal power generation, and furnace-related applications. In addition to pipes, round bars are also available, so please feel free to contact us. Myojo Electric provides one-stop services from material selection and procurement of thermosetting resins, including glass epoxy, and engineering plastics to various processing methods such as cutting, molding, polishing, bending, and bonding. If you have any questions or inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Molding of Bakelite square pipes (laminated tubes)

Bakelite square pipes can also be molded using a square mandrel (iron core).

Bakelite is a type of thermosetting resin made from phenolic resin material based on paper or cloth. It has excellent insulation and heat resistance, high dimensional accuracy, and a good balance of mechanical strength, making it suitable for use in electronic components, mechanical parts, and jigs. The molded product is created by wrapping prepreg around a square mandrel (iron core) and applying pressure and heat. After molding, it is cut short to be used as an insulator, either by covering areas that require insulation or by incorporating wiring inside. Myojo Electric provides one-stop solutions from material selection and procurement of thermosetting resins, including glass epoxy, and engineering plastics, to various processing such as cutting, molding, polishing, bending, and bonding. If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to contact us.
